The HELIOS hospital group is a house of the basic and standard care in Thuringia. In March 2002, our newly built hospital building was commissioned. The hospital has 379 beds. 526 employees in 2009 treated 20,000 inpatients and 18,000 outpatients. The range comprises the fields of surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, gynecology, obstetrics, Internal Medicine I (Gastroenterology, metabolism, hematology, oncology, general internal medicine), Internal Medicine II (Cardiology, Angiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Neurology), Pediatrics, Orthopedics psychiatric day hospital, radiology, trauma surgery, urology and ear, nose and throat medicine. The hospital has modern diagnostic and treatment options, including a cardiac catheterization laboratory, with a catchment area of approximately 150,000 inhabitants.
