"Sometimes, endo lesions and perio lesions look exactly the same. During this presentation, we will discuss how to recognize the two lesions and how to make a correct diagnosis, based on vitality pulp tests, evaluation of signs and symptoms and well angulated radiographs". A. Castellucci

"In this presentation several cases will be presented where the extraction and the implant were already planned. With today`s technology, Endodontics is more and more predictable and teeth that yesterday were condemned to extraction or periapical surgery can today be treated non-surgically with the predictability for a long term success". "Even though the preparation of curved canals is much easier with the use of nickel titanium instruments, taking into consideration the fact that the suggested technique is a combined technique, using hand and subsequently rotary instruments, and also considering that sometimes the apical curvature can only be prepared with stainless steel hand instruments, for all these reasons it is still useful to discuss the hand preparation of curved canals". "The participants will have the possibility to use the new NiTi rotary files Path Files, to create a glide path for the next rotary files. The preparation will then be easily completed with ProTaper Universal and with the new GTX rotary files. Depending on the root canal anatomy, the different systems will be used in order to have the best and safest results.

Again, depending on the root canal anatomy, the clinician will understand when it is more appropriate to use the Schilder technique or the System B and when is better indicated a carrier based technique, like Thermafil or GT Obturators". A. Castellucci
